Build a living village, fight across a seasonal realm, coordinate an alliance and compete to weld the First Crown through Throneweld’s realm-wide endgame.
Throneweld is built for players who love to think. Every session is a series of meaningful trade-offs: do you pour resources into economy or into your army, level land or upgrade buildings, defend at home or gamble on a distant raid? With four resources, multiple troop tiers, upgradeable structures, research and developable land interacting, there is no single winning formula — only the strategy you craft from your situation.
Balance food, wood, stone and gold, manage storage caps, and choose a build order that compounds into a dominant economy.
Compose armies from infantry, archers and cavalry, each with distinct attack, defense, speed and carry, to counter any foe.
Your place on the shared world map decides who you can reach and who can reach you. Position is power.
Marches and upgrades run on real-time clocks. Coordinating them turns good plans into decisive victories.
Throneweld never pauses. Resources accumulate, upgrades finish and armies march in real time — on a persistent shared server — whether you are watching or not. Log off and your economy keeps growing; log back in and the map has shifted around you. This real-time strategy foundation makes every session feel consequential and keeps the world alive around the clock.
Each realm is a finite competitive season with an opening chapter, scheduled narrative releases, a Crown Reckoning and a recorded winner. Kingdom power resets with the realm; Account Vault holdings, conversion records, victory history and earned account cosmetics persist.
Rulers share one map, which means your opponents are real people with real ambitions. Raid rival kingdoms for loot, defend against incoming marches, and read detailed battle reports to sharpen your next move. For players who want to ease in, barbarian camps and seasonal Wardens provide PvE targets before or alongside open conflict.
March on rivals, win the battle, and haul home the spoils of war.
Detailed after-action reports show casualties and loot so you can refine every strategy.
Band together with other rulers to coordinate defense and dominate whole regions of the map.
A limited clash designed to seize unprotected resources while capping losses on both sides.
A decisive engagement with full battle consequences when an alliance needs a target broken.
Station defenders with alliance members or Shield Pact partners. Reinforcements contribute directly to the host kingdom’s defense.
Banner Command gives alliances permission-based roles, shared map intelligence, scheduled operations, player commitments, diplomacy, collective projects and a permanent activity Chronicle.
Record Non-Aggression Oaths, Banner Wars, Shield Pacts and Caravan Compacts. Non-Aggression Oaths block attacks between the two alliances; Shield Pacts unlock cross-alliance reinforcement; Caravan Compacts increase controlled trade capacity. Banner Wars are ceremonial declarations.
Members contribute all four resources to shared infrastructure. Each level reduces member march time by 2%, capped at 20%.
Purchased Crownmarks enter the persistent Account Vault instead of the active realm. The Vault is sealed for the first 72 hours of a realm; beginning on Day 4, no more than 250 Crownmarks and two stored items can be released per day. Crownmarks cannot purchase troops, resources, timer speed-ups, Peace Shields or combat statistics — those are earned in-game. There are no randomized loot boxes.
Usable seasonal items live in the Realm Inventory. When a season closes, unused realm Crownmarks return to the Account Vault, realm items convert into Legacy Seals, and the conversion is recorded in the player’s ledger.
Seasonal narrative releases create a shared objective instead of an endless server. Alliances sacrifice troops against the Ashbound Warden, Tidekeeper and Iron Vigil, recover Crown Fragments, bind timed relics and contribute resources to the ten-level Throneweld Citadel.
Realm-wide PvE guardians release on a calendar. Committed units are consumed, turning attack strength into damage and Crown Fragments.
Each relic has a scheduled release and remains sealed until its matching Warden progression is complete.
The first alliance to raise the Citadel to level 10 wins the realm. Members receive permanent heraldry and enter the victory history.
The Village screen turns kingdom management into a visible settlement. Square parcels support farms, lumberyards, quarries, barracks, academies, hospitals, warehouses, marketplaces and embassies. Workers remain connected to the plots where they belong, while roads and activity make progress readable at a glance.
Defenses follow their own logic: walls and the main gate are part of the village perimeter and are upgraded in place. That keeps fortifications strategically meaningful instead of treating them like ordinary buildings that can be dropped onto any parcel.
Develop economy, military and defense improvements through the Academy and plan around prerequisites and real-time research queues.
The Hospital saves a share of battle casualties as wounded rather than dead. Treat them from the Army screen — for a discounted resource and time cost — to return them to your garrison.
Objectives teach mechanics, reward steady progress and give rulers useful goals between major military operations.
Within a realm, building levels, research, land and armies compound into seasonal power. Across realms, your Account Vault, Legacy Seals, victory record and permanent cosmetics become the history of your account without carrying an unbeatable army into a fresh opening.
That separation preserves meaningful long-term identity while allowing every new realm to begin competitively.
Discover cards through realm play and outpost victories, keep them in the Card Binder, equip one trade-off Sigil, or exchange cards safely card-for-card. Randomized paid packs are not part of the system.
The optional $4.99 monthly membership adds an Ember Crown Dragon, advanced completion alerts, planning conveniences, longer history and cosmetic identity. It never improves an army or economy.
Incoming attacks, security warnings, payment receipts and emergency realm notices are available without subscribing. Premium alerts cover convenience completions, not survival information.
