Scouting helps answer whether a target is worth the risk. Start with distance: it determines how long troops are unavailable and how much warning the target may have. Then look for information about defenses, resources and kingdom strength. Compare that information with your troop speed, carrying capacity and replacement cost. Never assume a visually small village is undefended. If intelligence is incomplete, use a smaller objective or wait rather than sending every troop. Afterward, read the scouting report and update your plan instead of relying on memory.
