Village defense has several layers. The wall improves the perimeter and the main gate represents the controlled entrance; both are upgraded in their fixed positions. A garrison supplies troops, research improves defensive performance, and the Hospital can reduce the long-term cost of casualties by supporting wounded-unit recovery. Storage planning also matters because resources at home create a larger reward for a successful raid. Strong defense is not one oversized structure: it is fortifications, troops, intelligence, alliance support and sensible resource management working together.
