Throneweld has three core troop types and they beat each other in different ways, so a mixed army is almost always stronger than a single type. INFANTRY are cheap, tough and the backbone of any defence. ARCHERS deal strong ranged damage and are great value on the attack, but are fragile if the enemy closes in. CAVALRY are fast and hit hard, ideal for raiding and for chasing down loot, but they cost the most to train and feed. Check each unit's attack, defence, hit points, carry capacity and speed on the Army page before you commit. A balanced force with some infantry to soak damage and archers or cavalry to deal it will outperform a one-note army most of the time.
