Every attack in Throneweld is a march across the map, and travel takes real time based on distance and your slowest unit's speed. That means timing is a real weapon. Scout the distance to your target first, then decide whether a fast cavalry raid or a slower, heavier stack makes sense. Remember that while your army is marching it is not home defending, so do not send everything out and leave your own kingdom naked. Coordinate arrival times with allies for combined hits, and watch the clock: an attack that lands while the defender is offline and low on troops is worth far more than a bigger army that arrives to a fully garrisoned wall.
